Image of the Beast - Here it is

I know many people attribute the image of the beast to the papacy, the catholic church and so on. But I don't believe it is correct as the pope can't currently influence me how ever much he would like to.

In Revelations13:15: We see that the image (greek: eikoni  (εἰκόνι) means 'likeness' ) of the beast (incarnation of Satan) was given 'pneuma' (πνεῦμα) or spirit and it could speak. So this image use / have spirit to influence people spiritually

If you google the physical and psychological effects of watching too much TV (and games). You will get an instant list of how bad it is:

It makes us:
Passive, unhealthy, unsociable, suicidal, lonely, inactive – they take away or sleep, zombie-like.
It releases the same chemical off which drugs do – making us addictive to that behaviour.
Wi-Fi apparently kill male sperm.  Not to mention the million dollar porn industry. Swearing, godlessness, blaspheming, using the Lord's name in vain. Exposure to violence it just does not stop.
24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year in year out.

Yet, I hear very few churches preaching from the pull pit that TV or Games (screens as I call them) are bad for you.

Before you watch this video please read this list of scriptures with your daily diet of TV in mind

Matt 6: 22 says: "The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light.
John 10:1 says
"Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber.

The bible says they eyes are the windows to the soul, and that the thief does not come through the door but the window. What every your eyes see, will be projected in your spirit. Your spirit is a temple of God. What ever you watch will be projected inside your temple. Watch unholy things your temple will be desecrated.

2 Timothy 3: 2
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, 4 Traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof

Does this not describe what you see on TV?

Matthew 24: 12
Jesus talks about the future state of believers: 'And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold'

Rom 8:5
5 Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.

Ephesians 4:17
17 So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longerlive as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. 18 They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of Godbecause of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. 19 Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

The way we train / teach children is by words, actions and example. TV re-train un in the worlds way day and night.

Palsm 1
Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,

( how do we 'sit' today? How do we 'walk' to day how do we 'stand' today with sinners and the wicked? )

2 but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
3 That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
    whatever they do prospers.

Provebs 23: 3
3 Do not crave his delicacies, for that food is deceptive.
(what is their delicacies today ? Food – no TV !)
