My weekly confession
Joshua 1v8 “The book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do all that is written in it . For than you shall make your way prosperous and have good success.
MONDAY- I will not give into fear because: ”God has not given me a spirit of fear but the spirit of love, power and a sound mind” (2 Tim 1v7) The lord is my light and my Salvation, I will not fear nor be afraid. (Ps 27v1) The book of Isaiah commands me to “Fear not, because God is with me.” (Isaiah 41v10) Because I am as bold as a lion and filled with God’s perfect love which casts all fear out of my life (1 John 4v18)
Therefore in the name of Jesus I resist fear and chose to move in faith instead.
TUESDAY- I will not worry about anything but by prayer and supplications, to let my requests to be known to God and His peace will guard my heart and my mind (Phil 4v6) I cast my cares upon Him because He cares for me (1 Peter 5 v7) I will obey the words that Jesus spoke; “Not to worry about my life.” (Matt 6v 25, 31) and rather to seek the kingdom of God all the other things that I need shall be added to me.” (Matt 6v33) I will therefore not even waste one minute worrying about things and I will definitely not allow worry to keep me awake at night because worry will not change my situation, only faith will.
WEDNESDAY- I will not talk and think about financial lack because: being faithful with my tithes and offerings God will “ open the windows of heaven and pour a blessing on me.” (Malachi 3v7). As I have given, it shall be given back to me, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. (Luke 6v38) I will sow bountifully, and will reap bountifully as God multiplies the seed that I sow and enriches me in everything (2 Cor 9v6,10-11) I believe that it is God’s will for me to prosper. (3 John 2) His blessings on my life make me rich and adds no sorrow. (Prov 10v22) My God will supply all my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus. (Phil 4v19)
THURSDAY – I will not give into sickness and disease because : I am in covenant relationship with God through my faith in the Blood of Jesus. Therefore: None of the disease of Egypt (this world) will come upon me, for God is the God who heals me. (Ex 15v26) Jesus has borne all my sickness and carried all my pains on the cross of Calvary, two thousand years ago and by His wounds I have been healed. (Is 53v4-5). God has forgiven me all my sins and healed all my diseases (Ps 103v3). Because I fear the Lord, “The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon me with healing in His wings” (Mal4v2). Healing is my legal inheritance because I am a child of God (Matt 15v26) The Holy Spirit gives life to my body (Rom 8v11) It is therefore God’s will for me to be healed and be healthy (3 John 2). Therefore Satan I resist you and command you to take your hands off my body in the Jesus name. (James 4v7).
FRIDAY – I will not submit to depression or discouragement for “ The Joy of the Lord is my strength” (Neh 8v10) I will “ Rejoice in the Lord, over and over. (Phil 4v4) My joy is not based on my circumstances but on who God is and what Jesus has done for me. (Hab 3v17-19). God is not impressed with my pity parties but meets with me as I rejoice in Him (Is 64v5) He enjoys my company because I am positive, happy and rejoicing (Ps 22v3). I will “Go out with joy and be led forth with peace.” (Is55v12) I now chose to pull myself together, not let discouragement have any hold of me chose to rejoice in the Lord as from today.
SATERDAY – I will not give into unbelief because : all the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ (2 Cor 1v19) I will not waver at God’s promises through unbelief, but will glorify the Lord being fully convinced that He will do that which he has promised (Rom 4v20-21). I have already been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ, (Eph 1v3) and God has given me all things that pertain to life and godliness. Through His precious promises I partake of His divine nature. (2 Pet 1v3-4) God will therefore answer my prayers, keep His promises and fulfill my desires.
SUNDAY – I will not be bound by the lust of the flesh because : “I have been crucified with Christ and it is no longer I who lives but Christ lives in me” (Gal 2v20). My old nature has died with Christ (Rom 6v6) and now I have been made alive with Christ, raised up together with Him and seated with Him in heavenly places (Eph2v5-6). I am therefore no longer subject to the powers of darkness for I dwell in the kingdom of God’s Son (Col 1v13) I am therefore dead to the flesh and alive to God, lust and the desires of my body have no more power over me.
